Welcome to BlabberNet
BlabberNet is a South African based IRC network. It started life as an underground, non-public network used by a very small amount of users seeking refuge from the then tiresome, busy networks of South Africa.
Founded in early 1999, the network has seen many users choosing it as their home over the years. The network has hosted the official chat channel for 5FM since 2000, the official chat channel for Highveld Stereo since 2002, and a number of non-commercial social channels.
If you're unfamiliar with IRC or online chat and want to try it out, please have a look at our Getting Started Guide. If you want to get started right away with IRC, we recommend using the Java Chat.
