User Modes

In addition to the RFC 1459 user modes, BlabberNet supports the following additional user modes.

Mode Description
+c Blocks private messages from other users who do not share a common channel with you.
+d Blocks all private messages from other users.
+g Enables server-side ignore.
+x Enables hostname cloaking, a system that hides a user's real IP address for security reasons.
+B Marks user as a bot. For informational purposes only.
+G Censors private messages from other users according to the network's configuration. See Censoring for more information.
+I Hides the list of channels the user occupies which is otherwise shown in a /WHOIS.
+R Blocks private messages from unregistered users.
+S Strips colour formatting from others' private messages.
+W Notification when others perform /WHOIS on you.
